Tiffany Gross, Vice-President of Piston Engine Parts, operating as Don Gross Warehouse, a multi-location Engine Parts WD serving the California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon and Washington marketplaces, recently announced that they have acquired the five (5) Sterling Bearing, Inc. warehouse operations covering the Mid-U.S and East Coast markets, and are consolidating their business operations on DMS’ DX+ Warehouse Management System. According to Steve Rich, former GM of SBI and Michelle, PEP Office Manager, “We are excited to be working with DMS to help us implement new leading-edge System technologies that will help us grow our business and increase our productivity & profitability.”

Successfully serving Jobber and Engine Rebuilder accounts across most of the US for many years, Piston Engine Parts anticipates achieving even greater success with their DMS DX+ System. Utilizing its Command Center, a real-time Business Intelligence Dashboard for their Operations & Financials, along with their DMS’ Qwik-Order B2B e-Commerce application for their customers, will help them modernize and expand their order processing operations while increasing accuracy and efficiency in their consolidated back-office operations.
“We are excited that Piston Engine Parts has chosen to partner with DMS Systems to upgrade their IT Systems in order to accommodate their recent SBI acquisition and achieve greater operating efficiencies and cost-savings for their growing business,” remarked DMS President, Grady Davis.

“As their Business Technology Partner, we will be working closely with them to help them achieve greater inventory turns and higher employee productivity while decreasing operational costs, thus offering the eight (8) Piston Engine Parts operations a significant competitive advantage in their expanding marketplace.”
